Minimum commitment. You agree to conduct at least one mentoring session per quarter, on a topic of your choosing within your area of expertise.
Listing. TSG will list your name, profile, and background on its website to introduce you to founders in the community.
Free founder calls. Founders connecting with you through TSG are entitled to one free call with you, between 30 and 60 minutes, per engagement.
Paid follow-on guidance. If, after the free call, you believe a founder needs more detailed, ongoing guidance, you're free to offer that as a paid engagement directly with the founder. TSG will take a share of that revenue as a platform fee (the exact percentage to be communicated separately, not included in this MOU).
Disclosure of paid engagements. You agree to inform TSG whenever you begin a paid engagement with a founder introduced through the platform. Failure to disclose a paid engagement may result in TSG taking action, including removal from the mentor network.
Participation in community sessions. You're welcome to join founder-facing sessions and events hosted by TSG, and may indirectly mention or promote your own services in that context, subject to TSG's discretion and community guidelines at the time. This isn't a blanket right to advertise, and TSG may ask you to stop if it becomes disruptive or excessive.
No misguidance. You agree to provide guidance to founders in good faith and to the best of your professional ability. You are solely responsible and liable for any advice, guidance, or representations you make to a founder. TSG is not a party to, and bears no liability for, the substance of your mentoring or any paid engagement that follows from it.
Code of conduct. You'll engage respectfully and professionally with founders and the TSG community. TSG reserves the right to remove any mentor from the platform for conduct that harms founders or the community.
No employment relationship. Your participation as a mentor is voluntary in the sense that there is no employment, agency, or partnership relationship between you and TSG.
Term. This MOU is valid for one year from the date you're approved as a mentor. It may be renewed, and either you or TSG may end the mentoring relationship earlier by notifying the other.
Governing terms. This MOU is a good-faith community agreement, not a binding legal contract, and is governed by the general terms of use of The Startup Ghar's platform.
